After much digging around in the forums and much perusing of the documentation that came with this thing, I discovered nothing. So, I did it my way, digging into the code of each page being called.
I now know that you cannot change sidebars from inside the Dashboard. Instead, you have to do it manually and then upload the page. You can always send it to the editor, but in order for changes to take effect, you need to chmod each page being edited to be writable.
All in all, this Remix thing is fucked up.

Got the page thing down pat. Next we work with the sidebars, etc. And the order of the pages still isn’t quite right, so I’ll fix that as well.

New theme, new headaches. There’s a huge learning curve with this theme, and lovely as it might be, I just don’t know about it. I’m thinking that maybe I should hire someone to do this for me and that way I can learn how to do it in the process.
Or…I could just bite the bullet and dig in with both hands. Yuck. Dirt!

Yesterday a vulnerability was discovered: a specially crafted URL could be requested that would allow an attacker to bypass a security check to verify a user requested a password reset. As a result, the first account without a key in the database (usually the admin account) would have its password reset and a new password [...] […]Working on links and things. These themes are extremely frustrating to handle.

This is a trial post. Just getting the feel of the themes for this site. So far, I haven’t found one I really love. Now for some filler text.
There are several files included in the ZIP folder. These include wordpress theme files, plugin files, and photoshop files. To installed your wordpress theme you will first need to upload the theme/plugin files via FTP to your server.
First you are going to upload the theme folder. Inside the ZIP folder you downloaded you will see a folder named “theme.” Within it is a folder named “ArtSee.” Via ftp, upload the “ArtSee” folder to your Wordpress themes directory. Depending on where you installed Wordpress on your server, the wp themes folder will be located in a path similar to: /public_html/blog/wp-content/themes.
Next you need to upload the plugin files. Inside the zip folder you downloaded there will be a folder named “plugin.” Within this folder are several other files and folders which need to be uploaded to your Wordpress plugins directory. This directory will be located at /public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins. Once you have the plugins uploaded you will need to activate them via your Wordpress control panel. Login to your wordpress admin area and click on the “plugins” link. Activate the following plugins: Limit Posts.
Next you need to select ArtSee and make it your default theme. Click on the design link, and under the themes tab locate ArtSee from the selection of themes and activate it. Your blog should now be updated with your new theme.
